Thunderbirds are go.
I know very little about Thunderbirds, but I spotted this one today. Not sure what year, maybe you can help me identify it. +1 for the owners daily driver tags

That is a rather nice 1957 Ford Thunderbird. You have my permission to kindly ask the owner to loose that Continental Kit, that opera-window top, as well as those rims. Please replace all with correct (period) equipment for a much more refined appearance. Thank you!

Not the best of parking jobs but a beauty none the less once the top is off and wheels get replaced as 95HondaV6 said

'56 with the continental kit I think. The opera-window top, continental kit, and rims are exactly correct and period.

Very nice, the 59 I seen today was pristine,The guy bought it for his wife to go with his 57 Fairline, lucky lady

Nope, that's definitely a '57, but you may be correct about the options. And I still do not like their looks.

Dat '57 T-Bird.
Although I prefer the '56 myself...

The only part I don't like is the conti-kit, never have.

I totally agree with you. It seriously takes away from the crisp lines and neat look of the car.

The worst are the park bench like ones on the other late fifty's cars. Ewww

Definitely a '57 T-bird with a bad, modern pimp aftermarket Continental kit.

Not even close. That's a '57 (because fins) and the continental kit is an ugly modern aftermarket piece.

Yup, you're right, excuse me for being 1 year off. Still could be a dealer option though.

Here's a question....what is a continental kit??

The "spare tire" bumper.
